Access to this section of the OTHT, on it's north end, is highway 567 & the power dam sideroad.  The trail follows the Matabichuan River and nearing Beaver Mountain it heads south as it approaches to Copper Lake. Going East and, drawing near to Aaron Creek, it affords hill top views of Lake Temiskaming. The trail continues South-Southeast generally following Lake Temiskaming from on high.  Near Nagle Bay, the trail provides the options of, continuing paralleling the shoreline, or following the "Inland Highland Trail."  Either of these routes will lead to the Rabbit Lake Bush Road access, west of Grand Campment Bay.  This bush road spans 41 km from the parking spot near Owain creek to the Hwy 11 provincial roadway. Four-wheel drive vehicles are advised to travel the Rabbit Lake Bush Road.
