This northernmost section of the OTHT is surely the most travelled. It is accessed at the north end of the trail at Latchford, Ontario on the southside of the Hwy 11 bridge. Look for the dump road on the east side.
This section includes two optional side loops and offers scienic views of Friday Lake , Cliff Lake and "The Crevasse".
Look for the varied forest and a remains of a sugar shack set amongst a canopy of maple trees. A must see when the maples change colour.
The south end of this section comes out onto the Roosevelt Bush Road which affords vehicle access and parking
