Hermit Lake


A wide variety of terrain and forests in a small area. This trail boasts a rocky crevasse, maple forest, open shield rock, three lookouts and a view of Hermit Lake. 7.1km in a figure of 8 shape. 

Alternately, you can do a 3.3 km hike by turning left at the first junction, meander through the crevasse,  and by turning right at the Old Cabin Ruins junction, return to the road.  For variety on future hikes, you can do either of the loops in reverse (not walking backward!)  As with all trails, it is suggested to reference the map download link shown below.
